It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Hi boys and girls! This will probably be the last blog post of 2016, and since we don't have any events coming up I thought hey, why not make this blog post a summary of our past year together and some of the stuff we've done :D

The Board of 2016 began the year with an Ice Skating event.

A few people even defied the -20 degrees outside and showed up, yay :D

<- and yep, let's just pretend we looked as gracious as these two... xD

But I do think we were all very happy to go back inside and have some hot cocoa and mini pizzas afterwards.. *heart-eyes emoji*

Btw, we actually did have marshmallows, AND whipped cream, AND chocolate sauce. It was DELISH.

Another event we had in the spring was the Anti-Valentine Sitz in February, which wasn't our greatest achievement food-wise, but we still managed to pull through, and people seemed to enjoy themselves, which is the most important thing.

Then came the most important happening of the year! The Board re-decorated the Student's Lounge ;D And if I may say so myself, we did one hell of a good job, hehe.

We also had a movie night in March, where we watched the scary movie Crimson Peak. And in April we had our annual Pub quiz, which was a hit, just as always. And one new addition was Laser Tag in April, which was something I've never done before and that, my friends, was truly awesome. Anyone who has ever watched HIMYM knows how awesome it seems, and it's nothing but true.

Some of the most memorable moments of the Spring were our Sitzes: In the Spring we had our Spring Break Sitz together with Välkky and Astérix, which was awesome! We had amazingly good food and so much fun, so that was really one to remember. We even had patches made for once, wohoo!

We also had a Game of Thrones Sitz together with Kleio, which was actually one of the best sitzes I've been to so far, and I'm not just saying that to brag! Promise :D

Then came Vappen and our picnics in the parks. Our board members Robin, Nikke and Sara also represented Britannica in the annual marching of the banners. We also took part in the Specialföreningsmässa at Kåren, were we sold patches and shit.

Then came the Summer holidays and we all were fortunate enough to get a little break from our studies. Fortunately, after a few weeks in the real world, we all realized just how fantastic life as a student is, and were super excited to get back to school in the Autumn. Am I right?

We began by welcoming our new students with the Gulsintagning in September, and OF COURSE we had the best stop out of all! Somehow we're always on top ;) And then came the annual Fresher's Fair as well. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the hats we girls got to match our overalls and Board shirts, I love em.

Some of my favorite events of the autumn were the Crib Crawl, which will hopefully become a new tradition of ours! Others were of course the Pub Quiz, our movie night where we watched Macbeth, and our Christmas Party.

One must also not forget our two sitzes!! First we had the Sitzing for Dummies - introductory sitz together with ESN for all of our new students to learn how to sitz. Then we had the fabulous Britannica Gala, where we handed out awards to people who had stood out in some way during the course of the year.

This sitz was a lot of fun, and heartwarming as well to see how touched some people were by their awards. Britannica love for everyone <3<3<3

Soo... I just wanna thank all of you for this past year and all the wonderful experiences we've had together. We did it!

Now, I don't know about you, but I absolutely love love love love Christmas and can't wait for school to be over for now and for the Christmas holidays to really begin!!
